The American Road Sampler Series: Route 66
Take a nostalgic journey through the highways and byways of bygone American culture. This three-part series includes talks by noted experts, a walking tour of the American Road exhibit, and complimentary tastes from the road served up by MOTOR® Bar & Restaurant. Held in a special event space within The American Road exhibit, these memorable evenings will inspire you to take to the highway and rediscover the glory of America. Event price includes admission to the Museum. Cash bar at event. Photographer Tom Ferderbar, who studied with Ansel Adams, shares his images of Route 66 from 1947 to the present. Ferderbar’s work is in the Ansel and Virginia Adams collection at the Center for Creative Photography at the University of Arizona at Tucson and the collection of the Milwaukee Art Museum.
