Iowa County Farmers Appreciation Day has truly become a community tradition. The event recognizes local farmers and agribusinesses and serves as an opportunity to promote and educate the general public about the agricultural industry. Saturday evening will entail the "Farmers Appreciation Day Fun Run/Walk," live entertainment, and fireworks. Sunday will kick off with a parade through downtown Dodgeville, followed by entertainment, a live auction, educational displays and food at Harris Park. The Dodgeville Kiwanis members will serve steak sandwiches grilled by the Iowa County Cattlemen’s Association while the ladies of Upland Hills Health Auxiliary will have a variety of pies on hand for dessert. There will be several activities for the youngsters and plenty of fun for people of all ages!
