The Janesville Patriotic Society has organized this parade in memory of the men and women who gave their lives in service to the country. Marching in the parade will be members of Parker and Craig high school bands, various veterans units, and members of the National Guard. The parade route runs down West Milwaukee Street then north on Main Street, with stops at the Doughboy statue and on the Rock River bridge to place wreaths and present rifle salutes. It ends at Veterans Plaza in Traxler Park with a Memorial Day Ceremony.
