German Settlement History Picnic & Open House
Bring a dish to pass at this potluck picnic and learn about the area’s German history. Hot dogs and brats will be provided by German Settlement History Inc. Tour the Yesterday House, a log house that was built in 1885 and contains items used by early settlers, and the Liberty School which was built in 1919. In addition, a “Machine Shed” which houses tools and farming and logging equipment used from 1880-1950 is also available to view. Open to visitors on a regular basis Spring to Fall.
