German Settlement History Picnic & Open House

Bring a dish to pass at this potluck picnic and learn about the area’s German history. Hot dogs, brats and refreshments will be provided by German Settlement History Inc. Tour the Yesterday House, a log house that was built in 1885 and contains items used by early settlers, and the Liberty School which was built in 1919. In addition, a “Machine Shed” which houses tools and farming and logging equipment used from 1880-1950 is also available to view. Open to visitors on a regular basis Spring to Fall.
