Maritime Heritage Festival

Port Washington

A premiere Maritime Heritage event on the west cost of Lake Michigan featuring ships, artisans, educational activities, a children's area, great entertainment, re-enactors, and more. Opportunities to sail and tour the ships are offered. Due to popular request, the Cardboard Boat Regatta returns for its 4th year as well. Best of all, the lakeside festival grounds give you a close-up and personal view of the ships. Free admission. New in 2014 the Land Regatta Run/Walk on Saturday. This family-friendly event is designed to appeal to all abilities with two course distances available. The competitive 4 mile run/walk event will be timed by Absolute Timing of West Bend and top placing participants will be recognized during the award ceremony scheduled for 10:15am. The 2 mile run/walk event ensures maximum view of the lakefront and attractions brought to us by the Maritime Heritage Festival.
