Wakely's Winter Feast

Traditionally, Robert and Mary Wakely had a dinner party in February. It was an opportunity to share a good meal and conversation with their neighbors. People came from up and down the river to enjoy a time of merriment and music. The citizens of Point Basse re enact the Wakely’s celebration with a grand dinner. The banquet consists of ham and chicken meats, venison, vegetables, potatoes, bread, beverages, and Tom’s Bread Pudding is a traditional favorite dessert. A delicious banquet, traditional foods, plus wild game and other foods. Tickets: Feast and Cotillion $15
