Our popular kids fishing contest is now held twice a summer. For kids up to age 12. Entry fee is $1.00 per child. A fishing goodie bag is given to each child and prizes are awarded for the most fish, largest fish and the smallest fish. This a fabulous kids event. Try to catch a big bass or crappie for some awesome prizes. State parks free admission on June 2nd. Some equipment is available and bait is provided-no artificial lures allowed for contestants. The fee is $1 per angler and a park sticker is required on your vehicle. Registration starts 8:30am and the first age group (up to 4 yrs) start fishing at 9am.
