Anda Union is part of a musical movement in China that finds inspiration in old and forgotten songs, drawing from a repertoire that had all but disappeared during their country’s recent tumultuous past. Hailing from differing ethnic nomadic cultures, the nine-strong band unites tribal and musical traditions from all over Inner Mongolia. Incorporating traditional instruments and vocal styles together, they create an addictive combination of Mongolian musical styles to keep the essence of their culture alive. This is an Arts Midwest World Fest Event. Tickets are $15.
