Deathtrap
October 18, 2012 - October 20, 2012
La Crosse
Deathtrap is a unique comedy-thriller play written by Ira Levin and originally performed on Broadway in 1978. Running for nearly 1,800 performances, it was one of the biggest mystery thrillers in American Theater history. Deathtrap places accomplished writer Sidney Bruhl in the middle of a long bout of writer's block. After he receives a script to look over from a student in a seminar he has been conducting, he creates a plan with his wife to collaborate with the young writer. The plot provides numerous twists and turns, and is sure to keep you at the edge of your seat. "If you care to assassinate yourself with laughter, try Deathtrap." - Time Magazine. Deathtrap is presented by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service, Inc., New York. Ticket prices in advance: $15 for members/$18 for general public; day of show: $18 for members/$21 for general public. Come early and enjoy our galleries.
