Inon Barnatan, piano
This young pianist is at the top of his game. Hailed by London's Evening Standard as "a true poet of the keyboard," Inon Barnatan has earned some of the highest praise in classical piano performance. Born in Tel Aviv and trained at London's Royal Academy of Music, Barnatan now resides in New York City, playing concerts throughout the US, as well as numerous international engagements. Although Barnatan has been called "a born Schubertian," he is also an enthusiastic supporter of contemporary music, having commissioned pieces by Thomas Adès, George Benjamin, George Crumb, Avner Dorman, Kaija Saariaho and Judith Weir.
