Johnsmith concerts have consistently sold out at the Pump House for nearly a decade. In addition to winning the Kerrville Folk Festival New Folk award, Johnsmith has released four CDs earning him rave reviews in Performing Songwriter as well as Sing Out! magazines. Unaffected by the hype that has surfaced, Johnsmith remains true to his tell-all form and lyrical genius that keeps even the most dedicated cynics open to his stylistic purity. "When I first heard Johnsmith my attention was captured by his sweet, earthy voice and fine craftsmanship, but what drew me in was his heart. It's clear that he's lived the pain in his songs and that his optimism is hope born of wisdom. That's a rare thing and a gift to all who hear him." -Tom Kimmel. Adding to the excitement of this audience favorite, Johnsmith will be joined by local entertainers, Dan Sebranek and Larry Dalton. You won't want to miss these two nights of entertainment. Ticket prices in advance: $18 for members/$21 for general public; day of show: $21 for members/$25 for general public. Come early and enjoy our galleries.
