Opener by Chance. Leo Kottke is bona fide “Guitar God” known for his innovative finger-picking style on 6 and 12-string guitar. For over 40 years, Kottke has been writing and playing music, and touring all over the country. His performances are known as much for his instrumental brilliance as they are for his comic wit and his baritone singing voice. Leo’s musical style is so intricate that the uninitiated listener will swear that theyare hearing more than one guitarist and several instruments playing. But in fact it is one man and one guitar, and 10 lightning-propelled fingers. Kottke has graced the Big Top stage seven times since 1995. He is one of our favorite guitarists and we’re excited to have him back at the Big Top. Tickets: $24/$34/$42.
