The Pittsville FFA/FFA Alumni are giving cranberry tours to help pay for student scholarships, trips and many more member-related activities.  This two-hour cranberry tour takes place just east of Pittsville in the heart of central Wisconsin Cranberry Country.

Pittsville FFA members and students, who are part of the only Cranberry Science Class taught in the nation, will give this all-inclusive tour. The tour will meet at the Pittsville School Auditorium located on Elementary Avenue just off First Avenue in Pittsville at 9:20 AM, with an introductory video for early arrivals.  The tour begins at 9:30 AM and includes the following: visiting a current marsh under production,  with the tourists given the opportunity to pick fresh fruit from the vine, as well as observing the harvesting, testing, cleaning and freezing of the berries. Finally, you will return to the school to enjoy a tasty cranberry-based lunch that includes a cranberry dessert made by our Local Foods Class at Pittsville High School. The charge for the tour is $25 per person.

School tours are also available for a discounted price, see below for reservation information (this does not include the lunch option). All tours include a cranberry juice and sweet and dried cranberries for each guest to take home.
