A special "Treat Giving" will occur at 1:00 pm each day. Bring along a treat for the bears, and help decorate and fill their large "Birthday Sled", which will include their birthday cake! Honey, apples, carrots, celery, peanut butter, and jelly are great items to bring to help decorate. The "Treat Giving Sled" will be available for you to help decorate with your donated birthday bear treat/s at the gift shop area from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm each day. At 12:45 pm the sled will be taken and positioned in the bear enclosure. At 1:00 pm, the doors of Fort Lewis and Clark's den will be opened so that the bears can start their exploration for treats and gifts! You will truly enjoy watching them celebrate their birthday! Remember to dress for the weather! Cancellations due to severe weather issues will be announced at 7:00 am via Shalom's E-newsletter and Facebook page. Come see Shalom in the wintertime!
