Wetherby Cranberry Company

The Wetherby Cranberry Company marsh is a third generation marsh owned and operated by the Van Wychen family who produce their own cranberry wine and sell cranberries as fresh fruit. The Van Wychen family hosts the Blossom Day Tour in late June and Public Harvest Day the first Saturday in October on the marsh. Both events are free and held rain or shine from 9-11am. At both events visitors to the marsh stand along the bank of a cranberry bed while family members explain how berries grow and are harvested. During the Harvest Day actual harvesting is taking place and freshly harvested berries can be purchased that day in the sorting warehouse.
