Westwood Golf Course
Beautiful and challenging 9-hole public golf course on the west shores of the Phillips Chain of Lakes. Four features that make this course challenging and fun include a creek running through holes #1, #3, and #8; ponds come into play on hole #1 and #7; the par 4 dog leg on #4 features a pot bunker for those long hitters looking for a birdie; bunkers protect every green. Many mature trees line the fairways, and wooded areas outline the entire course. Deer and other wildlife occasionally roam with the golfers. The greens, tees and fairways are fully irrigated. A practice putting green is also available. Hazards include bunkers, water and woods. Pro shop with a complete line of golf equipment. Clubs, pull carts and motorized carts available for rent. Sandtrap Bar & Grill offers a full menu including a large variety of sandwiches, appetizers, homemade pizza, and a Friday fish fry.
From Hwy 13 on north end of Phillips, turn west on County Road F. Go 1 1/2 miles to Golf Course Rd, turn left and go to end of road.
