Down to Earth Tours

A national park-like day-tour exploring off-the-beaten-path ‘treasures’ of Bayfield, Douglas, Sawyer, Washburn and Barron Counties. The nature/history/eco tour offers a one-of-a-kind experience that will expand your awareness and understanding of Wisconsin's wonderful northwoods – it’s fascinating landscapes, its geologic and glacial past, its hidden secrets, its Native American cultures, and its rich heritage. Short, guided interpretive walks and talks will be part of each tour with a stop at a great restaurant along the tour route. Join us and enhance your personal connection to the northwoods. Down To Earth Tours make a great educational and entertaining experience for you, your family, or a group or club. Businesses have taken a tour as a team building or a special 'thank you' for a job well-done. Two special tours, new for 2016 include a Museum Discovery Tours North, and another South. We'll be visiting three - four area museums on Thursdays and Fridays through the summer months.
