Heritage Park Museum
The museum complex includes the John Kast house, built 1871; one-room schoolhouse, log cabin, cheese exhibit building, a natural limestone building, railroad depot and reception building. Exhibits center on area history. The buildings are located on the channel between the Wolf River and beautiful Shawano Lake. A footbridge leads to Sunset Island, a beautiful spot for picnics and fishing. The complex is operated by the Shawano County Historical Society.

Museum Tours offered June-August, Thurs: 1:30pm-4pm and Sat: 9:30am-12pm, and by appointment. Office Hours: Mon and Thurs, 9am-4pm, and by appointment.
