Horicon Marsh International Education Center

The state-owned, southern third of the marsh (totaling 11,000 acres) is open to the public. Five miles of hiking trails lead from the Education Center into the marsh, including The Horicon Habitat Hike, which is a 1.5-mile loop hiking trail with interpretive signs. The trails afford excellent opportunities for bird and wildlife viewing. The Education Center provides visitor information, a feature film about Horicon Marsh and a wide range of education programs, movie nights and events. Public naturalist programs are free and offered in the spring and fall.
