Railroad Memories Museum
Railroad Memories Museum, located in the old OMAHA/CNW depot in downtown Spooner, houses a fascinating, extensive collection dedicated to the preservation of railroad memorabilia and the education of the public on the significance of Spooner's railroad heritage and railroading worldwide. The museum, staffed and run by volunteers, has retired railroaders who act as tour guides, leading visitors through 13 rooms of the old depot filled with railroad bells, whistles, lights, tools, timetables, photos, advertising, art and antiques. Visitors from around the country and around the world have enjoyed this outstanding collection of historic documents, photos, railroad equipment and other memorabilia covering every aspect of railroading.
