SS Meteor Museum
Tour the S.S. Meteor Maritime Museum from pilot house to cargo holds. Built in 1896 and launched from Superior, the S S Meteor is the last remaining whaleback freighter now permanently berthed on Barkers Island. The Museum also features exhibits on Twin Ports shipbuilding history and Great Lakes shipwrecks.

Open mid-May to Labor Day Mon-Sat 10am-4pm, Sun 11am-4pm Day after Labor Day to mid-October Thurs, Fri and Sat 10am-4pm, Sun 11am-4pm Closed mid-October through mid-May
