Wisconsin Veterans Home & Museum
The Wisconsin Veterans Home at King museum in Marden Center is a great source of history from the Civil War to the present. See the uniforms and equipment used by our Veterans. The Wisconsin Veterans Home at King invites you to visit. Tour the museum, walk the grounds, or have a coffee at the King Cafe, open weekends 8-4 and weekdays 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. For more information or to schedule a tour, please call 715-258-4247 or go to www.wvhking.com. After a tour of the museum enjoy a walking tour of the grounds. The Main Chapel was constructed in 1890 and on the Wisconsin Register of Historic Places. Also on the register is the Commandant's Quarters, a beautiful Queen Anne style home. A memorial to commemorate the Wisconsin Medal of Honor recipients.
