Wisconsin Veterans Museum
For over one hundred years, the Wisconsin Veterans Museum, an educational activity of the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs, has connected the past to the present by sharing the stories of Wisconsin's military veterans. Located in the heart of Madison, Wisconsin, this award-winning museum and research center chronicles the history-shaping exploits of Wisconsin's veterans from the Civil War to the present day.
Hours of Operation
Year round: Tue-Sat 9am-4:30pm; Sun Noon-4pm(April-Sept). The Museum is closed Sundays October through March, State Holidays, Easter Sunday, July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Years Day. The museum Research Center is open Tue-Fri 9am-3:30pm or by appointment.
