Ashland Mural Walk

The 8 block main street business district, listed on the National Register for Historic places, is the background for a fascinating walk through Ashland's history as seen through the eyes of Ashland's mural artists Kelly Meredith and Susan Prentice Martinsen. 9 Murals, starting from the Corner of Ellis Ave and Main Street and continues on streets going west in Ashland Historic Downtown. The Murals depict people from Ashland's past. In 2005 Ashland was designated the Historic Mural Capital of the State of Wisconsin.
