Bald Eagle Watching


Details

View Bald Eagles from Wisconsin Welcome Center at 211 South Main, Prairie du Chien or along the river on St. Feriole Island. Eagles can be found roosting in the trees at these locations. Migration of Bald Eagles begins in March. Eagles can also be seen during the winter months along the Mississippi River where the water remains open. Popular spots are along the slough area in Prairie du Chien.
