Details

Located on Madeline Island, the largest of 22 Apostle Islands, this 2,418-acre park sports rugged wooded cliffs with dramatic views of Lake Superior. It contains a State Natural Area that is open for use by the public. Habitats include bogs, barrier beach, boreal forest and old growth hemlock. 1.5 miles of Lake Superior shoreline. Mile long boardwalk, drinking fountain, viewing platform, visitors center, gift shop.
