Travel Green Wisconsin Score

To be certified through Travel Green Wisconsin, all participants must achieve at least 30 points on the Travel Green Wisconsin Checklist. The more points a business attains, the greener they are in their operations.

Green Innovations

• The museum leverages environmental resources with other educational entities including St. Croix National Scenic Riverway, a unit of the National Park Service, UW Superior, WITC, Northland College, Cheq.-Nicolet National Forest Service, Telemark Educational Foundation, Inc. and school districts throughout the Northland.
• All lights are compact fluorescents
• Recycles and reuses office equipment from other businesses
• This is a new facility built with ENERGY STAR light fixtures, windows and appliances.
