The best money-saving deal in winter sports is at Cascade Mountain, near Wisconsin Dells. All kids age 12 or younger ski or ride free when accompanied by a paid adult. Situated in the Baraboo Bluff region of south-central Wisconsin, Cascade’s north-facing slopes offer real skiing variety. Some of the 36 trails, like the Mogul Monster, are steep and challenging to any skier, while trails like Far Out are over a mile long and fun for beginners. Getting to the top of the mountain is fast and easy with ten lifts, including the high-speed quad Mountain Top Express chairlift. Cascade caters to the adventurous type with five terrain parks, ranging from beginner to expert. Knowing that skiing or snowboarding isn’t for everyone, Cascade added a Snow Tubing park. Tubing is fun and easy, and no experience or equipment is required. The new time-saving Flex lift ticket allows you to ski for up to eight hours, and the time doesn’t start until you buy the ticket. Rental gear has also taken the flex approach, and you can switch from skis to snowboards at no extra cost. Overnight guests have a variety of lodging options nearby. Cascade works with a number of hotels, motels, condo's, townhouses and more in the area to provide package deals and a unique lodging experience. Wisconsin Dells is just a few minutes away, with America’s largest indoor water parks to add even more entertainment to your skiing vacation.
