Opening June 2010 -- an unusual museum with world reknowned collections of arms and armour. Learn about the art and history of the warriors and knights of the period from the later Romans, thru the dark age warriors, the Vikings, the Norman invasion of England in 1066, the Crusades, the development of the Feudal Age knights in chain mail and the code of chivalry among knights, the pikemen and foot soldiers of the 1400s and 1500s and into the fully armored knight of the Renaissance and ending with the heavily armored cavalry of the 1700s.
