The Thai Pavilion in Olbrich Park was built by artisans in Thailand, taken apart piece by piece, and reassembled in Madison by the same artisans.

 

Collins Marsh Wildlife Area & Nature Center


Details

4,100-acre marsh habitat and wildlife area. Unique species include great blue herons (300-nest colony), great egrets, ospreys (four successful nests), yellow-headed blackbirds, bald eagles, and Forster's terns. Upland species include Hungarian partridge, ruffed grouse and woodcock. Canoe rental for exploration of the marsh from ice-out through Sept 1.
