The studio is a family affair with the venerable Robert Eckels (who passed away in 2004) and his talented daughter, Deanna, guiding a staff of experienced professionals and aspiring apprentices. At Eckels Pottery you will find pots of every description in both stoneware and porcelain clay bodies. We offer a wide variety of original and functional pieces designed for everyday use. We're located in beautiful Bayfield, Wisconsin, where visitors are invited to watch every step of the fascinating process, from lump of clay to finished product.
