Ed's Lake Trail

Details

The 1.5 million acres of the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest sprawl across northern Wisconsin in four major lobes. Two sections in the northeast cover 661,000 acres; a vast playground of woods and water. Covering parts of six counties, the forest lures nature lovers with countless lakes and dozens of campgrounds. For the mountain biker there are miles and miles of forest roads, plus nine off-road trail systems. Often the trails are used for cross-country skiing in winter. Ed's Lake Trails are typical of the mountain bike riding you'll find here.
