Emily Lake Campground


Details

Open year round. Located in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest on Emily Lake. 11 rustic campsites located on undeveloped lakeshore and overlooking Emily Lake; toilet, well, campsite, boat land, picnic area, 26-acre lake with northern pike, crappie, perch, and panfish. Walk in winter camping, no services. This rustic facility is located on Emily Lake which is 26-acres in size. Drinking water and a vault toilet are available. Each of the 10 campsites has a parking spur, fire grill, and picnic table. A boat landing provides access for canoeing, swimming, and fishing. Emily Lake supports a good panfish population.

From the intersection of Hwy. 13 & Hwy. 70 in Fifield drive east on Hwy. 70 22.3 miles to FR 509 (Chippewa Trail). Turn left (north) and continue on FR 509 3.1 miles to FR 142. Turn right (east) on FR 142 and drive 0.2 miles to FR 1178. Turn left (north) and continue 0.5 miles to the campground.From Lac du Flambeau, travel west on Forest Road 142 for 3.5 miles. Turn right (north) on forest Road 1178 to the campground.
