This collection of antique packaging, vintage grocery tins, apothecary items and dry goods evokes the essence of an old-time general store. It is a marvelous treasury of the past that delights both young and old and is believed to be one of the most extensive collections of its kind in the Midwest. The Cedarburg Visitor Center is located in the building also, which makes it the perfect first stop on your vist to Cedarburg.

Just 17 miles North of Milwaukee on I-43, take Exit 89 (Hwy C, Pioneer Road). Go west 3 miles to the stoplight at Washington Avenue. Turn right and continue into the downtown historic district. The General Store Museum is at the south end of Cedarburg's downtown Historic District on the corner of and Washington Ave. and Spring St

M-F 10 am - 4 pm, Sat. 10 am - 3 pm, Sun. 11 am - 3 pm (Not open on Sunday in Jan., Feb., March)
