Ghost Lake Lodge is a historic vacation retreat that offers a refuge on a virtually private lake in the seclusion of the Chequamegon National Forest. Here the woodland extends to the waters edge and your only obvious neighbors are nature and fabulous foliage. We are a little out of the way, a lot out of the ordinary. We are located 22 miles northeast of Hayward , 1/2 mile north of Highway 77 at the end of N Scheers Road. We have vintage (1930s) log cabins along the lake, set amongst giant hemlocks on a beautiful private peninsula.
