Pendarvis traces its beginnings to Wisconsin's territorial lead-mining heyday when many immigrant Cornish miners settled in Mineral Point.

Grandview Folk Art

Details

Grandview is a unique sculpture garden, house and museum, featuring the works of immigrant artist/dairy farmer Nick Engelbert (1881-1962). Beginning in the 1930s and continuing over a period of 30 years, Engelbert crafted his visions in concrete, glass and stone and planted them in the gardens surrounding his farm near the Iowa County community of Hollandale. His work lives on and continues to delight all those who visit the museum and grounds. Picnic facilities on grounds in summer.
