EAA Museum

The "Tin Goose" was an integral part of aviation history for the military, corporations, and the elite. Now it provides flights to visitors at the EAA AirVenture Museum.

Details

The museum complex includes the John Kast house, built 1871; one-room schoolhouse, log cabin, cheese exhibit building, a natural limestone building and reception building. Exhibits center on area history. The buildings are located on the channel between the Wolf River and beautiful Shawano Lake. A footbridge leads to Sunset Island, a beautiful spot for picnics and fishing. The complex is operated by the Shawano County Historical Society.
