An authentically reconstructed 1860s sawmill built on the site of the original mill, which stood from 1854 to 1910. Painstakingly reconstructed in the image of the original mill with historic mortise-and-tenon construction, the Herrling sawmill's vertical "muley saw" mechanism is operated by a water-powered turbine just as was the original mill. Historic lumber-sawing demonstrations.
