Our nearly new cabin rests on the shoreline of a small bay where nature abounds. The Pixley Flowage is part of the Flambeau River system and has a Canadian like setting, offering a very quiet and relaxing setting, world class kayaking, canoeing and great fishing and hunting. What we don’t have on the Pixley are jet skis and speed boats. Our waterfront deck is great for your morning coffee or for a cool drink as you watch the sunset. A fire pit for after-dark story telling. We have a pair of resident eagles and loons which raise their young on the Pixley every year, and a family of beavers in our bay. The Flambeau River system is perfect for canoeing and kayaking with miles of shoreline, most in natural state or in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. Canoe rental is available close by. Canoe included. A nice sand swimming beach at Smith Lake and the fishing is good. The boat launch is a short distance from the cabin. We also have a pier for your boat or to fish from. Park Falls is the Grouse Hunting Capital of the World, and the top black bear hunting area in the state. No pets. No Smoking,
