Historic Plymouth Walking Tour

This self-guided tour features more than 50 historically significant homes, businesses and munipal buildings, three of which are listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and 27 of which are Sheboygan County Landmarks.The 2.5 hour Walter Bade Tour has a shorter, one-hour segment known as The Henry Hudson Tour, which highlights the downtown and Yankee Hill areas.The tours depict the history of the Yankee settler and the buildings which date back to 1845. Walking Tour brochures, with map and historic information, along with general visitor information, can be found at the Plymouth Historical Museum, 420 E Mill Street, or at the Plymouth Visitor Center, 647 Walton Drive (corner of Hwys 57 and 23).

The Plymouth Historical Museum is located at 420 East Mill Street; Hwy 23 (east or west) to Hwy 57 exit; Hwy 57 to stoplight intersection (Fleet Farm).Turn west at stoplight intersection (Eastern Avenue/CTH C/Bus Hwy 23); continue west to third stoplight intersection;at third stoplight intersection, stay in the left-hand lane and follow the "gentle" curve into downtown. The Museum is on the north side of Mill Street.

The Museum has limited operating hours; summer - W-Th-Fri-Sat-Sun, 10-2; winter - Fri/Sat - 10-2. The Plymouth Visitor Center, 647 Walton Drive, is open M-F, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. There are outside brochure boxes available to the public 24/7.
