The Museum is housed in the rebuilt Mamer-Hansen Luxembourgian stone barn originally built in 1872 by Jacob Mamer, an immigrant from Septfontaines, Luxembourg. Mamer immigrated to Ozaukee County, Wisconsin in 1854.
The Luxembourg American Cultural Center’s Research Center (RC) is home to the largest collection of resources pertaining to Luxembourg genealogy/heritage/culture outside of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The RC is also home to genealogical resources for families of any ethnicity from Northern Ozaukee County, Wisconsin.

Take I-43 and exit #107 (Belgium/Lake Church exit), from off ramp turn west toward the Village of Belgium. Go one block to County Hwy LL. Turn right (north) on Hwy LL. Take Hwy LL two blocks to Peter Thein Avenue. A parking lot is located next to the Cultural Center
