The Stella Gardens at Michael Fields Agricultural Institute invites groups and individuals for field trips, tours and hands-on experiences for all ages. A 2 hour Farm Educational Tour cost $5/person. All day visits include a noon meal cost $27.50/person (13 and up). Lunch offered Tues-Fri at Noon featuring fresh seasonal produce from our farm & local farmers. Call for reservations. Tour our student- farmed Stella Gardens with organic produce available for purchase. Attend a Community Whole Farm Workshop or two led by our professional Farmer Faculty. Our workshops provide a hands-on introduction and teach practical usage for everyday farm life skills and more! MFAI also offers a “New Farmer Foundation Year” which is an exploration into biodynamic and organic agriculture through theoretical and experiential building on core competencies, skills and agro-ecological literacy. We offer four - 10 week terms.
