The John Muir trails of the Kettle Moraine State Forest in Eagle have five snowshoe loops four- to 10-miles long.

Morgan Falls

Details

The falls drop 80-100 feet into an unnamed tributary of Morgan Creek. Morgan Falls is a 1.2 mile round trip hike from the parking lot and is an easy hike for everyone. The falls itself is an elegant cascade, diagonally traversing a 70 foot granite face. In the winter only a trickle of a stream flows through the frozen falls. For a quick scenic snowshoe jaunt, Morgan Falls is a good choice.
