Necedah National Wildlife Refuge



Details

Located in Juneau County, this 44,000-acre refuge is home to the world's largest population of endangered Karner blue butterflies. Sandhill cranes, migrating waterfowl in fall, wild turkeys, bald and golden eagles in winter; shorebirds and songbirds in spring. Hiking/skiing trails, observation towers and auto routes provide easy access.
