The Telemark Resort in Cable hosts the nation’s largest off-road bicycle race, the Chequamegon Fat Tire Festival, with 2,500 participants.

 

Newman Lake Recreation Area


Details

Located on a cold water lake, this area features accessible picnic tables, grills, picnic shelter, trails, fishing pier, vault toilets, and a ramp to the swimming beach. You can also enjoy a children's play area, interpretive exhibits, and a developed boat ramp. The trail system is nearby the park and is used for mountain biking and cross-country skiing.
