Perry Creek Trail is a great ride for novices or those more interested in aesthetics than athletics. Here you can enjoy an easy roll through stands of pine, aspen, oak and maple on a trail that leads to a mini-gorge where Perry Creek meets the Black River. Top it off on foot with a short hike to Castle Mound, a half-mile-long, 200-foot-high natural monument with a spectacular balancing rock at the east end.
