Details

A 26.2-mile trail that follows a former railbed from Medford to Prentice in north-central Wisconsin. Five miles of the trail on the south end near Medford have been surfaced with limestone screenings, with the remainder in crushed gravel. Horse riders should use the four feet of trail to the right. ATVs are allowed when the trail is open to snowmobiles and the temperature is below 28 degrees. Camping is available at Pioneer Park & Campground in Ogema located one block off the trail; horses are allowed and a hitching post is provided; amenities include drinking water and flush toilets through the last weekend in September.
