Popelka Trenchard Glass is a fine art glass gallery as well as a working studio. Jeremy Popelka and Stephanie Trenchard are nationally known glass artists who make all of their work in their downtown studio, located in the heart of Sturgeon Bay-Æs historic shipbuilding neighborhood. Popelka works in the ancient Venetian tradition of murrini blown glass. He also casts sculptures which have won international awards. Trenchard creates unique cast work that encases handmade glass objects. She is represented throughout the country in many fine galleries and has developed a national reputation. May through October the gallery is open 10am-5pm daily. Monthly demonstrations will be announced. Off season hours Thurs.-Sat. 10am-4pm; Sun. noon-4pm.Also by chance.
