The Richard I. Bong Veterans Historical Center, named for America's Ace of Aces and Medal of Honor recipient, Major Richard Ira Bong of Poplar, WI welcomes visitors year-round. The Center proudly honors veterans of WWII and later conflicts. Visitors step back in time as they explore war & military history through interactive displays and visual exhibits including "Marge" a rare, restored P-38 fighter. Admission required. Groups & Motorcoach travel welcome. Watch for special events, progams, guest speakers & book signings throughout the year.
