Rock Lake Trail is a hilly hiking, cross-country ski and mountain biking trail that winds through 2,000 acres of mature northern mesic and dry mesic forest with some large white pine. Portions of the trail skirt several small remote lakes. Birds found in these habitats include: Scarlet Tanager, Pileated Woodpecker, Common Raven, Eastern Wood Peewee, Black-throated GreenWarbler, and Pine Warbler. www.fs.fed.us/r9/cnnf
